History
On 17 October 1958 the General Assembly agreed to the creation of a new presbytery - the Presbytery of Latrobe Valley to come into effect from 1 March 1959 (pp 60-62). The congregations of the new presbytery consisted of: Mirboo North, Bunyip-Iona, Drouin, Moe, Morwell, Morwell East, Trafalgar, Traralgon, Warragul, Yallourn and Rosedale.
At the 7 Oct 1985 General Assembly meeting the motion to alter the name of the "Presbytery of Latrobe Valley" to the "Presbytery of Gippsland" was seconded and approved. The congregations consisted of Drouin, Moe-Yallourn and Morwell.
