Scope Note: At Melbourne, and within the Scots Church, Collins-street, the 7th day of April, 1859 years.

Which day the Synod of Victoria, the Synod of the Free Presbyterian Church of Victoria, the Synod of the United Presbyterian Church of Victoria, and the Synod of the United Presbyterian Church of Australia, met by appointment as constituted Synods, at noon, for the purpose of uniting in one Synod, and forming themselves into one Church, under the designation of “The Presbyterian Church of Victoria.”
